#Pringgasela Village Experience: Walk Through Nature &
Culture
Empowering Local Youth – Preserving Tradition – Connecting With Nature
About Pringgasela Village
Nestled on the southern slopes of Mt. Rinjani at 400 meters above sea level,
Pringgasela is a peaceful village best known for its beautiful traditional
handwoven textiles. Weaving is a tradition proudly passed through generations
— and nearly every woman here still practices this intricate craft.
But beyond weaving, Pringgasela is a vibrant farming village with stunning rice
terraces, fertile fruit plantations, and dramatic views of the surrounding
mountains. Many don’t see this side of the village — but we’re excited to share it
with you.
Faced with limited economic opportunities, many villagers seek work abroad. We
believe sustainable tourism can open new doors — supporting youth employment,
preserving tradition, and protecting our environment.
